कृत्वा कठिनभारं सा वृक्षशाखावलम्बिनम्‌ | गृहीत्वा परशुं भर्तु: सकाशे पुनरागमत्‌,फिर उसने टोकरीके बोझको पेड़की डालमें लटका दिया और कुल्हाड़ी लेकर वह पुनः पतिके पास आ गयी

Transliteration

kṛtvā kaṭhinabhāraṃ sā vṛkṣaśākhāvalambinam | gṛhītvā paraśuṃ bhartuḥ sakāśe punarāgamat ||

Translation

അവൾ ഭാരമേറിയ ചുമട് മരക്കൊമ്പിൽ തൂക്കിവെച്ച്, കോടാലി എടുത്ത് വീണ്ടും ഭർത്താവിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്ക് മടങ്ങിവന്നു।
