इदमम्भ: कुबेरस्ते महाराज: प्रयच्छति । अन्तर्तहितानां भूतानां दर्शनार्थ परंतप,/ | | 0 ४ 'परंतप! महाराज कुबेर आपको यह जल इस उद्देश्यसे समर्पित कर रहे हैं कि आप इसे नेत्रोंमें लगाकर मायासे अदृश्य हुए प्राणियोंको देख सकें
idam ambhaḥ kuberas te mahārājaḥ prayacchati | antartahitānāṃ bhūtānāṃ darśanārthaṃ parantapa ||
മാർക്കണ്ഡേയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഹേ പരന്തപ! മഹാരാജ കുബേരൻ നിനക്കു ഈ ജലം നൽകുന്നു. ഇതിന്റെ ഉദ്ദേശം: നീ ഇത് കണ്ണുകളിൽ പുരട്ടിയാൽ മായയാൽ മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ജീവികളെ കാണാൻ കഴിയും.”
