Adhyāya 290: Kuntī’s Mantra-Parīkṣā and the Appearance of Sūrya (कुन्ती–सूर्यसंवादः)
अन्तर्हितं विदित्वा तं बहुमायं च राक्षसम्
antarhitaṃ viditvā taṃ bahumāyaṃ ca rākṣasam
അവൻ അദൃശനായതായി തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞും, അനേകം മായകളിൽ നിപുണനായ ഒരു രാക്ഷസനെന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞും, അവൻ വിവേകത്തോടെ ജാഗ്രതയോടെ നിന്നു; മായകൊണ്ട് മറഞ്ഞ അധർമ്മത്തെ ആദ്യം ഭേദിക്കാതെ ശരിയായ പ്രവർത്തി സാധ്യമല്ല.
