Sāvitrī–Satyavān Vivāha: Kanyāpradāna and Āśrama-Śīla (सावित्री-सत्यवान्विवाहः)

अन्वधावन्मृगं रामो रुद्रस्तारामृगं यथा । वे धनुष-बाण ले, पीठपर तरकस बाँधकर, कटिमें कृपाण लटकाये तथा हाथोंमें दस्ताने पहने उस मृगके पीछे उसी प्रकार दौड़े, जैसे मृगशिरा नक्षत्रके पीछे भगवान्‌ रुद्र दौड़े थे

anvadhāvan mṛgaṃ rāmo rudras tārāmṛgaṃ yathā |

വില്ലും അമ്പുകളും കൈയിൽ, പുറത്ത് തൂണീർ കെട്ടി, അരയിൽ കൃപാണം തൂക്കി, കൈകളിൽ ദസ്താനങ്ങൾ ധരിച്ച് ശ്രീരാമൻ ആ മൃഗത്തെ പിന്തുടർന്നു ഓടി—മൃഗശിരാ നക്ഷത്രത്തിലെ താരാമൃഗത്തെ പിന്തുടർന്ന് ഒരിക്കൽ രുദ്രൻ ഓടിയതുപോലെ।
