Sāvitrī–Satyavān Vivāha: Kanyāpradāna and Āśrama-Śīla (सावित्री-सत्यवान्विवाहः)
tatas tasyāśramaṃ gatvā rāmasyākliṣṭakarmaṇaḥ
The verse highlights the ethical ideal of tireless, untroubled action (ākliṣṭa-karma): a model of disciplined perseverance aligned with dharma, often associated with leaders who act without faltering even amid hardship.
Mārkaṇḍeya indicates a shift in the story: someone proceeds to Rāma’s hermitage, setting the scene for an encounter in a place of austerity and guidance, where counsel or a significant episode is likely to unfold.
