इतरेषां तु सर्वेषां कुरूणां कुरुसत्तम । दुःखेनाभिपरीतानां नेत्रेभ्य: प्रापतज्जलम्,कुरुश्रेष्ठ! अन्य सभी कुरुवंशी दु:खमें डूबे हुए थे और उनके नेत्रोंसे अश्रुवर्षा हो रही थी
itareṣāṁ tu sarveṣāṁ kurūṇāṁ kurusattama | duḥkhenābhiparītānāṁ netrebhyaḥ prāpatad jalam ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—കുരുശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! മറ്റു എല്ലാ കുരുക്കളും ദുഃഖം ചുറ്റുമെല്ലാം മൂടിയവരായി; അവരുടെ കണ്ണുകളിൽ നിന്ന് കണ്ണുനീർ വീണുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
