Draupadī-apaharaṇa-saṃdeśaḥ
Report of Draupadī’s Abduction and the Pāṇḍavas’ Pursuit
अथवा ते भयं जात॑ दृष्टवार्जुनपराक्रमम् । सत्यं ते प्रतिजानामि वधिष्यामि रणे<र्जुनम्
athavā te bhayaṃ jātaṃ dṛṣṭvārjuna-parākramam | satyaṃ te pratijānāmi vadhiṣyāmi raṇe 'rjunam ||
“അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അർജുനന്റെ പരാക്രമം കണ്ടു നിനക്കു ഭയം ജനിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ, ഞാൻ സത്യപ്രതിജ്ഞ ചെയ്ത് പറയുന്നു—യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അർജുനനെ നിർബന്ധമായും വധിക്കും.”
