मुद्गलोपाख्यानम् — व्रीहिद्रोणदानं, दुर्वाससः परीक्षा, स्वर्गगुणप्रश्नः

तथा भीमो महेष्वास: संयुगे बलिनां वर: । गन्धर्वा्छितशो राजज्जघान निशितै: शरै:,राजन! इसी प्रकार बलवानोंमें श्रेष्ठ महाधनुर्धर भीमसेनने अपने तीक्ष्ण सायकोंद्वारा सैकड़ों गन्धर्वोको मार गिराया
tathā bhīmo maheṣvāsaḥ saṁyuge balināṁ varaḥ | gandharvān śataśo rājan jaghāna niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ ||
അതുപോലെ മഹാധനുര്ധരനായ ഭീമൻ—യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ബലവാന്മാരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ—ഹേ രാജാവേ, തന്റെ മൂർച്ചയുള്ള അമ്പുകളാൽ നൂറുകണക്കിന് ഗന്ധർവരെ വീഴ്ത്തി।
