मुद्गलोपाख्यानम् — व्रीहिद्रोणदानं, दुर्वाससः परीक्षा, स्वर्गगुणप्रश्नः

हाथमें गदा लिये बड़े वेगसे युद्धके लिये आते हुए चित्रसेनकी उस गदाके, जो सब-की- सब लोहेकी बनी हुई थी, अर्जुनने अपने बाणोंद्वारा सात टुकड़े कर दिये
hastamēṁ gadā liye baṛe vēgase yuddha ke liye ātē huē citrasēna kī us gadā ke, yō sab-kī-sab lōhē kī banī huī thī, arjun nē apnē bāṇōṁ dvārā sāt ṭukṛē kara diyē.
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—കൈയിൽ മുഴുവനും ഇരുമ്പുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ഗദ പിടിച്ച് യുദ്ധത്തിനായി മഹാവേഗത്തിൽ പാഞ്ഞെത്തിയ ചിത്രസേനന്റെ ആ ഗദയെ അർജുനൻ തന്റെ അമ്പുകളാൽ ഏഴു കഷണങ്ങളാക്കി തകർത്തു.
