धृतराष्ट्रस्य क्रतु-प्रवर्तनम् तथा पाण्डवानां निमन्त्रण-प्रतिवचनम्
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Sacrifice Commences and the Pandavas’ Reply to the Invitation
ताननादृत्य गन्धर्वास्तद् वनं विविशुर्महत् । यदा वाचा न तिष्ठन्ति धार्तराष्ट्रा: सराजका:
tān anādṛtya gandharvāstad vanaṁ viviśur mahat | yadā vācā na tiṣṭhanti dhārtarāṣṭrāḥ sarājakāḥ ||
അവരെ അവഗണിച്ച് ഗന്ധർവന്മാർ ആ മഹാവനത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചു. കാരണം രാജാവോടുകൂടിയ ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രപുത്രന്മാർ യുക്തിയുള്ള വാക്കിൽ നിലകൊള്ളാതിരുന്നാൽ, അവർ നിയന്ത്രണമറ്റവരായി ഉപദേശം അവഗണിച്ച് മുന്നോട്ടു പാഞ്ഞുചെല്ലും.
