वनप्रस्थानम् (Departure for the Forest) — Āraṇyaka-parva, Adhyāya 24
अनुभावांश्व॒ जानासि ब्राह्मणानां न संशय: । प्रभावांश्वैव वेत्थ त्वं सर्वेषामेव पार्थिव,राजन! आप सभी ब्राह्मणोंके अनुभाव और प्रभावको जानते हैं, इसमें संशय नहीं है
anubhāvāṁś ca jānāsi brāhmaṇānāṁ na saṁśayaḥ | prabhāvāṁś caiva vettha tvaṁ sarveṣām eva pārthiva, rājan ||
രാജാവേ! ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാരുടെ അനുഭാവവും പ്രഭാവവും നിങ്ങൾ നിശ്ചയമായി അറിയുന്നു—ഇതിൽ സംശയമില്ല. പാർത്ഥിവാ! അവരുടെ ശക്തിയുടെ വ്യാപ്തിയും നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരിലും സംബന്ധിച്ച് ഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
