स्कन्दसेनापत्याभिषेकः
Skanda’s Consecration as Devasenāpati
अथ संचिन्तयामास भगवान् हव्यवाहन: । अन्योडग्निरिह लोकानां ब्रह्मुणा सम्प्रकल्पित:,तब भगवान् अग्निने यह सोचा--'हो-न-हो, ब्रह्माजीने इस जगत्के लिये किसी दूसरे अग्निदेवताका निर्माण कर लिया है'
atha sañcintayāmāsa bhagavān havyavāhanaḥ | anyo 'gnir iha lokānāṃ brahmaṇā samprakalpitaḥ ||
അപ്പോൾ ഹവ്യവാഹനനായ ഭഗവാൻ അഗ്നി മനസ്സിൽ ചിന്തിച്ചു—“ഒരുപക്ഷേ ബ്രഹ്മാവ് ഈ ലോകങ്ങൾക്കായി മറ്റൊരു അഗ്നിയെ നിയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കാം.”
