युधिछिर उवाच
The verse underscores reverence for dharma-instruction: a righteous king recognizes the supreme value of a dharma-centered narrative and honors the teacher as foremost among dharma-knowers, implying that ethical wisdom is transmitted through exemplary stories and worthy guides.
After hearing an instructive account about dharma, Yudhiṣṭhira responds with gratitude and praise, addressing the speaker as a Brahmin sage and affirming both the excellence of the teaching and the authority of the narrator.
