स्कन्दोपाख्यानम् — उत्पातशान्तिः, स्वाहारूपविचारः, कौमारमङ्गलक्रियाः
उत्तिष्ठ भगवन् क्षिप्रं प्रविश्याभ्यन्तरं गृहम् द्रष्टमर्हसि धर्मज्ञ मातरं पितरं च मे,भगवन! आप धर्मके ज्ञाता हैं, उठिये और शीघ्र घरके भीतर चलकर मेरे माता-पिताका दर्शन कीजिये
uttiṣṭha bhagavan kṣipraṁ praviśyābhyantaraṁ gṛham | draṣṭum arhasi dharmajña mātaraṁ pitaraṁ ca me ||
വ്യാധൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഭഗവൻ, എഴുന്നേൽക്കുക; വേഗത്തിൽ എന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അകത്തളത്തിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിക്കൂ. ഹേ ധർമ്മജ്ഞാ, എന്റെ മാതാപിതാക്കളെ ദർശിക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.”
