स्कन्दोपाख्यानम् — उत्पातशान्तिः, स्वाहारूपविचारः, कौमारमङ्गलक्रियाः

व्याध उवाच प्रत्यक्ष मम यो धर्मस्तं च पश्य द्विजोत्तम । येन सिद्धिरियं प्राप्ता मया ब्राह्मणपुड़व,धर्मव्याधने कहा--विप्रवर! अब मेरा जो प्रत्यक्ष धर्म है, जिसके प्रभावसे मुझे यह सिद्धि प्राप्त हुई है, ब्राह्मणश्रेष्ठट उसका भी दर्शन कर लीजिये

vyādha uvāca | pratyakṣaṁ mama yo dharmas taṁ ca paśya dvijottama | yena siddhir iyaṁ prāptā mayā brāhmaṇapuṅgava ||

വ്യാധൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ദ്വിജോത്തമാ! ഞാൻ നേരിട്ട് ആചരിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ ധർമ്മം കാണുക; അതിന്റെ പ്രഭാവത്താലാണ്, ഹേ ബ്രാഹ്മണപുങ്ഗവാ, ഞാൻ ഈ സിദ്ധി പ്രാപിച്ചത്.
