अचेष्टमपि चासीनं श्री: कंचिदुपतिछ्ठति

Transliteration

aceṣṭam api cāsīnaṁ śrīḥ kaṁcid upatiṣṭhati

Translation

പുറത്തോട്ടൊരു ശ്രമവും ചെയ്യാതെ വെറും ഇരിക്കുന്നവനോടും ശ്രീ (ലക്ഷ്മി) വന്നു ചേർന്ന് നിൽക്കാം. അതിനാൽ ലോകവിജയം എല്ലായ്പ്പോഴും പുണ്യത്തിന്റെയോ പരിശ്രമത്തിന്റെയോ നേരിട്ടുള്ള അളവുകോൽ അല്ല; വിധി ധർമ്മവും ആചരണവും നോക്കി വേണം, കാണുന്ന സമൃദ്ധി നോക്കി അല്ല.
