ततस्ते प्रेक्षका: सर्वे रड्रवाद इव स्थिता: । हर्षयामासुरुच्चैर्मा सिंहनादतलस्वनै:,तब वे सैनिक रंगशालामें बैठे हुए दर्शकोंकी भाँति केवल मेरे युद्धका दृश्य देखते हुए जोर-जोरसे सिंहनाद और करतलध्वनि करके मेरा हर्ष बढ़ाने लगे
tataste prekṣakāḥ sarve raṅgadvāda iva sthitāḥ | harṣayāmāsur uccair mā siṃhanāda-tala-svanaiḥ ||
അപ്പോൾ ആ എല്ലാ പ്രേക്ഷകരും യുദ്ധരംഗത്തിലെ ദർശകരെപ്പോലെ നിലകൊണ്ട് എന്റെ പോരാട്ടം മാത്രം നോക്കി; ഉച്ചത്തിലുള്ള സിംഹനാദങ്ങളും കൈയടികളുടെ മുഴക്കവും ഉയർത്തി എന്റെ ഉത്സാഹം വർധിപ്പിച്ചു।
