मुहान्ति हि प्रजास्तात कालेनापि प्रचोदिता: । मा च तत्र विशड्काभूद् यन्मयोक्ते तवानघ,युधिष्ठिर! कालसे प्रेरित होकर ही यह सारी प्रजा मोहग्रस्त होती है। अनघ! मैंने तुम्हारे सामने जो कुछ भी कहा है, उसमें तुम्हें किसी प्रकारकी शंका नहीं होनी चाहिये
Vaiśampāyana uvāca |
Muhyanti hi prajāstāta kālenāpi pracoditāḥ |
Mā ca tatra viśaṅkābhūd yan mayokte tavānagha, Yudhiṣṭhira ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പ്രിയവത്സാ, കാലം തന്നെ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോഴാണ് ജനങ്ങൾ മോഹത്തിലാകുന്നത്. അതിനാൽ, അനഘ യുധിഷ്ഠിരാ, ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞതിൽ നിനക്ക് യാതൊരു സംശയവും ഉണ്ടാകരുത്.
