Educational Q&A

When religious life is purified of hypocrisy and society becomes devoted to truth (satya), the natural and social worlds align: righteousness supports prosperity, symbolized by seeds that reliably sprout.

Mārkaṇḍeya describes an ideal condition of society: hermitages are cleansed of fraudulent sectarianism, the populace becomes truth-oriented, and agriculture becomes fruitful—an image of dharmic restoration and well-being.
