अध्याय १९० — वामदेव-वाम्य-वृत्तान्तः
The Vāmadeva Horses Episode and the Ethics of Promise
एष धाता विधाता च संहर्ता चैव शाश्वत: । श्रीवत्सवक्षा गोविन्द: प्रजापतिपति: प्रभु:,श्रीवत्सचिह्न जिनके वक्ष:स्थलकी शोभा बढ़ाता है, वे भगवान् गोविन्द ही इस विश्वकी सृष्टि, पालन और संहार करनेवाले, सनातन प्रभु और प्रजापतियोंके भी पति हैं
eṣa dhātā vidhātā ca saṁhartā caiva śāśvataḥ | śrīvatsavakṣā govindaḥ prajāpati-patiḥ prabhuḥ ||
ഇവൻ തന്നെയാണ് ശാശ്വതനായ പ്രഭു—ധാതാവും വിധാതാവും, സംഹർത്താവും. ശ്രീവത്സചിഹ്നം ശോഭിക്കുന്ന വക്ഷസ്ഥലമുള്ള ഗോവിന്ദൻ പ്രജാപതിമാരുടെയും അധിപതി.
