कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः
Kṛtayuga Description and Instruction on Royal Dharma
करभारभयाद् भीता गृहस्था: परिमोषका: | मुनिच्छञाकृतिच्छन्ना वाणिज्यमुपजीविन:
karabhārabhayād bhītā gṛhasthāḥ parimoṣakāḥ | municchadākṛticchannā vāṇijyam upajīvinaḥ ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഭാരമേറിയ ചുമടുകൾ വഹിക്കേണ്ടി വരുമോ എന്ന ഭയത്തിൽ വിറച്ച ആ കള്ളന്മാർ ഗൃഹസ്ഥരുടെ വേഷം ധരിച്ചിരുന്നു. മുനികളുടെ രൂപം മറയായി ധരിച്ചു അവർ വ്യാപാരത്തെ ഉപജീവനമാക്കി—അതിന്റെ മറവിൽ മോഷണവും കൊള്ളയും നടത്തി।
