कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः
Kṛtayuga Description and Instruction on Royal Dharma
लोभमोहपरीताश्च मिथ्याधर्मध्वजावृता: । भिक्षार्थ पृथिवीपाल चज्चूर्यन्ते द्विजैर्दिश:
lobhamohaparītāś ca mithyādharmadhvajāvṛtāḥ | bhikṣārthaṃ pṛthivīpāla ca cūryante dvijair diśaḥ ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രാജാവേ! ലോഭവും മോഹവും പിടിച്ചവരും കള്ളധർമ്മത്തിന്റെ പതാക പൊതിഞ്ഞവരുമായ ബ്രാഹ്മണർ വെറും ഭിക്ഷ മാത്രം ചോദിക്കുകയല്ല; ഭിക്ഷയുടെ പേരിൽ എല്ലാ ദിക്കുകളിലുമുള്ള ജനങ്ങളെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുകയും അടിച്ചമർത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും।
