मनुर्मनुजशार्दूल तस्मिन् शृद्गे न्यवेशयत् | संयतस्तेन पाशेन मत्स्य: परपुरंजय
manur manujaśārdūla tasmin śṛṅge nyaveśayat | saṁyatastena pāśena matsyaḥ parapuraṁjaya ||
മാർക്കണ്ഡേയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ഹേ മനുജശാർദൂലാ! മനു ആ ശൃംഗത്തിൽ (പാശം) ഉറപ്പിച്ചു. ആ പാശത്തിൽ ബന്ധിതനായ മത്സ്യൻ—ഹേ പരപുരഞ്ജയ—ദൃഢമായി നിയന്ത്രിതനായി നിന്നു.
