Bhīmasena’s Capture by the Serpent and Nahūṣa’s Self-Disclosure (भीमसेन-भुजङ्गग्रहणं नहुषोपाख्यानप्रस्तावः)

वैशग्पायन उवाच निवार्याथ ततः पार्थ सर्वे देवा यथागतम्‌ जम्मुरन्ये च ये तत्र समाजम्मुर्नरर्षभ

Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca | nivāryātha tataḥ pārtha sarve devā yathāgatam | jagmur anye ca ye tatra samājamur naraṛṣabha ||

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ പാർഥാ! തുടർന്ന് (അവനെ) നിയന്ത്രിച്ച ശേഷം, വന്നതുപോലെ തന്നെ എല്ലാ ദേവന്മാരും മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി. അവിടെ കൂടിയിരുന്ന മറ്റുള്ളവരും പിരിഞ്ഞുപോയി—ഹേ നരശ്രേഷ്ഠാ!
