Arjuna’s Arrival and Reunion on the Sacred Mountain
महात्मा चारुसर्वाज्ध: कम्बुग्रीवो महाभुज: । रुक्मपृष्ठं धनु: खडगं तूर्णाश्चनापि परामृशत्,उनका हृदय महान् था, सभी अंग मनोहर जान पड़ते थे, ग्रीवा शंखके समान थी और भुजाएँ बड़ी-बड़ी थीं। वे सुवर्णकी पीठवाले धुनष, खड्ग तथा तरकसपर बार-बार हाथ फेरते थे

mahātmā cāru-sarvāṅgaḥ kambugrīvo mahābhujaḥ |
rukmapṛṣṭhaṃ dhanuḥ khaḍgaṃ tūṇīṃś cānāpi parāmṛśat ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവൻ മഹാത്മാവ്; അവന്റെ എല്ലാ അവയവങ്ങളും മനോഹരം; ശംഖസദൃശമായ കഴുത്തും മഹാഭുജങ്ങളും. സ്വർണ്ണപൃഷ്ഠമുള്ള ധനുസ്സും ഖഡ്ഗവും തൂണീരങ്ങളും അവൻ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും സ്പർശിച്ചു കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്തു—ആസന്നമായ പ്രവർത്തിയിലേക്കുള്ള സന്നദ്ധതയും ദൃഢനിശ്ചയവും പുറത്തു തെളിയുന്നതുപോലെ।
