अभिफपन्नस्तु राजेन्द्र साम्बो वृष्णिकुलोद्वह: । वेगं वेगवतो राजं॑स्तस्थौ वीरो विधारयन्,राजेन्द्र! वृष्णिवेंशका भार वहन करनेवाला वीर साम्ब वेगवान्के वेगको सहन करते हुए धैर्यपूर्वक उसका सामना करने लगा
abhipannas tu rājendra sāmbo vṛṣṇikulodvahaḥ | vegaṁ vegavato rājaṁs tasthau vīro vidhārayan ||
രാജേന്ദ്രാ! കടുത്ത സമ്മർദ്ദത്തിലായിരുന്നിട്ടും വൃഷ്ണികുലത്തിന്റെ അഭിമാനമായ വീരൻ സാമ്ബൻ, വേഗവാന്റെ പ്രഹാരവേഗം ധൈര്യത്തോടെ സഹിച്ച് അചഞ്ചലമായി നേരിട്ടു നിന്നു.
