Kubera’s Fivefold Nīti and Protection of the Pāṇḍavas (वैश्रवणोपदेशः)
कमलोत्पलकटछ्लारपुण्डरीकसुगन्धिना । सेव्यमाना वने तस्मिन् सुखस्पर्शेन वायुना,उस समय कमल, उत्पल, कह्नलार और पुण्डरीककी सुन्दर गन्ध लिये मन्द मधुर वायु उस वनमें मानो उन्हें व्यजन डुलाती थी
kamalotpalakaṭacchlārapuṇḍarīkasugandhinā | sevyamānā vane tasmin sukhasparśena vāyunā ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ആ വനത്തിൽ താമര, ഉത്പല, കഹ്ലാര, പുണ്ഡരീക പുഷ്പങ്ങളുടെ സുഗന്ധം നിറഞ്ഞ, സ്പർശത്തിൽ സുഖകരമായ മന്ദമാരുതൻ അവരെ പക്കൽ നിന്നു വീശുന്ന പക്കവാളിപോലെ സേവിച്ചു.
