Educational Q&A

Even immense power must be guided by humility and right understanding: the pilgrimage setting and the Hanumān–Bhīma encounter frame strength as meaningful only when disciplined by dharma and respect for wiser, spiritually accomplished elders.

This line is a colophon marking the close of the chapter: it situates the episode within Vana Parva’s pilgrimage narrative told in connection with sage Lomaśa, specifying the location (Kadali grove) and identifying the featured discourse as the dialogue between Hanumān and Bhīma.
