समृद्धरूप: सवितेव दीप्त: सुश्लक्षणकृष्णाक्षिरतीव गौर: । नील: प्रसन्नाश्न॒ जटा: सुगन्धा हिरण्यरज्जुग्रथिता: सुदीर्घा:

samṛddharūpaḥ saviteva dīptaḥ suślakṣaṇakṛṣṇākṣir atīva gauraḥ | nīlaḥ prasannāś ca jaṭāḥ sugandhā hiraṇyarajjugrathitāḥ sudīrghāḥ ||

അവന്റെ രൂപം അത്യന്തം സമൃദ്ധവും മനോഹരവും ആയിരുന്നു; സൂര്യനെപ്പോലെ ദീപ്തിമാനായി തിളങ്ങി. അവന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾ തെളിഞ്ഞതും മൃദുവും കറുത്ത ഇമകളാൽ ശോഭിച്ചതുമായിരുന്നു; അവൻ അത്യന്തം ഗൗരവർണ്ണനായി തോന്നി. അവന്റെ ജടകൾ വളരെ നീളം, ശുചിത്വം, നീലഛായ എന്നിവയോടെ മധുരസുഗന്ധം പരത്തി; അവയെല്ലാം ഒരു സ്വർണ്ണരജ്ജുവാൽ ഗൂഥപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.
