Ṛśyaśṛṅgopākhyāna-praveśaḥ — Lomāśa narrates the origins of Ṛśyaśṛṅga and the Anga drought (ऋश्यशृङ्गोपाख्यान-प्रवेशः)
कथं प्रवर्षेत् पर्जन्य उपाय: परिदृश्यताम् । तमूचुश्नोदितास्ते तु स््वमतानि मनीषिण:,“विप्रगण! मेघ कैसे वर्षा करे--यह उपाय सोचिये।” उनके पूछनेपर मनीषी महात्माओंने अपना-अपना विचार बताया
kathaṃ pravarṣet parjanya upāyaḥ paridṛśyatām | tam ūcuḥ noditās te tu svamatāni manīṣiṇaḥ ||
ലോമശൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“മേഘം എങ്ങനെ മഴ പെയ്യും? ഒരു ഉപായം കണ്ടുപിടിക്കട്ടെ.” എന്ന് ചോദിക്കപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ ആ മनीഷികൾ തങ്ങളുടെ തങ്ങളുടെ അഭിപ്രായങ്ങൾ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു.
