अथ जर्जरसर्वाड्गं व्यावृत्तनयनोल्बणम् | भूतले भ्रामयामास वाक्यं चेदमुवाच ह,किर्मीरका सारा अंग जर्जर हो गया और उसकी आँखें घूमने लगीं, इससे वह और भी भयंकर प्रतीत होता था। भीमने उसी अवस्थामें उसे पृथ्वीपर घुमाया और यह बात कही --
atha jarjarasarvāṅgaṃ vyāvṛttanayanolbaṇam | bhūtale bhrāmayāmāsa vākyaṃ cedam uvāca ha ||
അപ്പോൾ കിർമീരന്റെ ശരീരമൊട്ടാകെ ജർജരമായി, കണ്ണുകൾ മറിഞ്ഞു ചുറ്റിത്തുടങ്ങി; അതുകൊണ്ട് അവൻ കൂടുതൽ ഭീകരനായി തോന്നി. ഭീമൻ അതേ നിലയിൽ അവനെ ഭൂമിയിൽ ചുറ്റിച്ചുഴറ്റി, ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു।
