इदमद्धिः सम॑ प्राप्ता ये केचिद् भुवि जड़मा: । प्रविशन्तो महानादं नदन्ति भयपीडिता:
idam addhiḥ samā prāptā ye kecid bhuvi jaḍamāḥ | praviśanto mahānādaṃ nadanti bhayapīḍitāḥ ||
നാരദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഭൂമിയിൽ ഉള്ള ഏതെങ്കിലും മന്ദബുദ്ധിയുള്ള ജീവികൾ വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ ഒഴുക്കിൽ പെട്ട് ഇവിടെ എത്തിച്ചേരുമ്പോൾ, ഈ മഹാനാദമുള്ള പ്രദേശത്തിലേക്ക് കടന്ന ഉടൻ ഭയപീഡിതരായി ഉച്ചത്തിൽ നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു.
