अपि वाचं भाषमाणस्य काव्यां धर्मासमामर्थवतीमहिंस्राम्‌ । अवेक्षेरन्‌ धार्तराष्ट्रा: शमार्थ मां च प्राप्त कुरव: पूजयेयु:

Transliteration

api vācaṃ bhāṣamāṇasya kāvyāṃ dharmasamām arthavatīm ahiṃsrām | avekṣeran dhārtarāṣṭrāḥ śamārthaṃ māṃ ca prāptaṃ kuravaḥ pūjayeyuḥ ||

Translation

സമാധാനത്തിനായി ഞാൻ കാവ്യസമമായ സുസംഘടിതവും, ധർമ്മത്തോട് യോജിക്കുന്നതും, ലക്ഷ്യസാധകവും, അഹിംസാപരവുമായ വാക്കുകൾ പറയും. ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രപുത്രന്മാർ എന്റെ വാക്കിൽ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചാൽ, അവർ അത് അംഗീകരിക്കും; കുരുക്കളും ഞാൻ യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ സമാധാനം സ്ഥാപിക്കാനാണ് വന്നതെന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ് എന്നെ ആദരിക്കും।
