Udyoga Parva, Adhyāya 55 — Sañjaya’s Report on Pāṇḍava Readiness and Arjuna’s Dhvaja
भीमसेनानुरोधाय हनूमान् मारुतात्मज: । आत्मप्रतिकृतिं तस्मिन् ध्वज आरोपयिष्यति,भीमसेनके अनुरोधकी रक्षाके लिये पवननन्दन हनुमानजी उस ध्वजमें युद्धके समय अपने स्वरूपको स्थापित करेंगे
sañjaya uvāca |
bhīmasenānurodhāya hanūmān mārutātmajaḥ |
ātmapratikṛtiṁ tasmin dhvaja āropayiṣyati ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ഭീമസേനന്റെ അഭ്യർത്ഥന മാനിച്ച് അവനെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാനായി വായുപുത്രനായ ഹനുമാൻ യുദ്ധസമയത്ത് ആ ധ്വജത്തിൽ ആരൂഢനായി അവിടെ തന്റെ സ്വരൂപത്തിന്റെ ഒരു പ്രതിരൂപം സ്ഥാപിക്കും।
