Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 50 — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Bhīmasena (भीमसेनभयवर्णनम्)
महावेगो महोत्साहो महाबाहुर्महाबल: । मन्दानां मम पुत्राणां युद्धेनानतं करिष्यति,वह महान् वेगशाली, अत्यन्त उत्साही, विशाल-बाहु और महाबली है। वह युद्ध करके मेरे मन्दबुद्धि पुत्रोंकोी अवश्य मार डालेगा
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | mahāvego mahotsāho mahābāhur mahābalaḥ | mandānāṁ mama putrāṇāṁ yuddhenāntaṁ kariṣyati ||
ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവൻ മഹാവേഗനും മഹോത്സാഹിയും വിശാലബാഹുവും മഹാബലവാനുമാണ്. യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടു എന്റെ മന്ദബുദ്ധിയായ പുത്രന്മാരെ അവൻ നിശ്ചയമായി അന്തത്തിലേക്കെത്തിക്കും.
