Drupada’s Counsel on Conciliation and Alliance Mobilization
अनुवर्त्स्यति तं चापि धृतराष्ट्र: सुतप्रिय: । भीष्मद्रोणौ च कार्पण्यान्मौख्याद् राधेयसौबलौ,(सात्यकिकी बात सुनकर) द्रपदने कहा--महाबाहो! तुम्हारा कहना ठीक है। इसमें संदेह नहीं कि ऐसा ही होगा; क्योंकि दुर्योधन मधुर व्यवहारसे राज्य नहीं देगा। अपने उस पुत्रके प्रति आसक्त रहनेवाले धृतराष्ट्र भी उसीका अनुसरण करेंगे। भीष्म और द्रोणाचार्य दीनतावश तथा कर्ण और शकुनि मूर्खतावश दुर्योधनका साथ देंगे
anuvartsyati taṃ cāpi dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ sutapriyaḥ | bhīṣmadroṇau ca kārpaṇyān maukhyād rādheyasaubalau ||
ദ്രുപദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പുത്രസ്നേഹത്താൽ ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രനും അവനെയേ പിന്തുടരും. ഭീഷ്മനും ദ്രോണനും കരുണാജനകമായ ദൗർബല്യത്താൽ; കർണനും ശകുനിയും മൂഢത്വത്താൽ ദുര്യോധനന്റെ പക്ഷം പിടിക്കും.
