अध्याय ३९: विदुरेण धृतराष्ट्राय नीत्युपदेशः

धृतराष्ट उवाच एवमेतद्‌ यथा त्वं मामनुशाससि नित्यदा । ममापि च मति: सौम्य भवत्येवं यथा55तथ माम्‌

dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca evam etad yathā tvaṁ mām anuśāsasi nityadā | mamāpi ca matiḥ saumya bhavaty evaṁ yathā tathā mām ||

ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—നീ എപ്പോഴും എനിക്ക് ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ തന്നെയാണ് സത്യം. ഹേ സൗമ്യാ, എന്റെ ബുദ്ധിയും അതനുസരിച്ച് രൂപപ്പെടുന്നു; കാര്യങ്ങളെ യഥാതഥമായി ഞാൻ അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നു।
