आप्तो दूत: संजय सुप्रियो5सि कल्याणवाक् शीलवांस्तृप्तिमांश्व न मुहोस्त्वं संजय जातु मत्या न च क़्ुद्धोरुच्यमानो दुरुक्तै:
āpto dūtaḥ saṃjaya supriyo ’si kalyāṇavāk śīlavāṃs tṛptimāṃś ca | na muhos tvaṃ saṃjaya jātu matyā na ca kruddho rucyamāno duruktaiḥ ||
യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സഞ്ജയാ, നീ വിശ്വസ്ത ദൂതനും ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് അത്യന്തം പ്രിയനുമാണ്. നിന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ മംഗളകരവും ഹിതകരവും; നീ ശീലവാനും തൃപ്തചിത്തനും. നിന്റെ വിവേകം ഒരിക്കലും മൂടപ്പെടുന്നില്ല; കഠിനവാക്കുകൾ കേട്ടാലും നീ കോപിക്കുകയില്ല.
