दास्य: स्युर्या ये च दासा: कुरूणां तदाश्रया बहव: कुब्जखजञ्जा: | आखूयाय मां कुशलिन सम तेभ्यो- 5प्यनामयं परिपृच्छेर्जघन्यम्
dāsyāḥ syur yā ye ca dāsāḥ kurūṇāṃ tadāśrayā bahavaḥ kubja-khañjāḥ | ākhyūyāya māṃ kuśalinaṃ samaṃ tebhyo 'py anāmayaṃ paripṛccher jaghanyam ||
യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—കൗരവരുടെ ദാസന്മാരും ദാസിമാരും, അവരുടെ ആശ്രയത്തിൽ കഴിയുന്ന അനേകം കൂനന്മാരും മുടന്തന്മാരും—അവർക്കെല്ലാം ഞാൻ കുശലമാണെന്ന് അറിയിക്കണം; ഒടുവിൽ എന്റെ പേരിൽ അവരുടെ കുശലക്ഷേമവും അന്വേഷിക്കണം।
