भीष्मस्वप्न-स्मृत्युपाख्यानम् | Bhīṣma’s Dream-Linked Recollection of the Paraśurāma Combat
सा वत्सभूमिं कौरव्य तीर्थलोभात् ततस्ततः । पतिता परिधावन्ती पुनः काशिपते: सुता
sā vatsabhūmiṃ kauravya tīrthalobhāt tatastataḥ | patitā paridhāvantī punaḥ kāśipateḥ sutā ||
ഹേ കൗരവ്യ! തീർത്ഥലോഭം കൊണ്ടു പ്രേരിതയായി കാശിപതിയുടെ പുത്രി വത്സഭൂമിയിൽ ഇങ്ങോട്ടും അങ്ങോട്ടും ഓടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും വീണിട്ടും അവൾ ഓട്ടം നിർത്തിയില്ല.
