ततः शक्ति प्राहिणोद् घोररूपा- मस्त्रे रुद्धे जामदग्न्यो महात्मा । कालोत्सृष्टां प्रजवबलितामिवोल्कां संदीप्ताग्रां तेजसा व्याप्प लोकम्
tataḥ śaktiṃ prāhiṇod ghorarūpām astre ruddhe jāmadagnyo mahātmā | kālotsṛṣṭāṃ prajavabalitām ivolkāṃ saṃdīptāgrāṃ tejasā vyāpya lokam ||
അപ്പോൾ തന്റെ അസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ തടയപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ, ജമദഗ്നിനന്ദനായ മഹാത്മാ പരശുരാമൻ ഭയങ്കരരൂപമായ ഒരു ശക്തി എറിഞ്ഞു—കാലം തന്നെ വിട്ടയച്ച ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന ഉൽക്കപോലെ; അതിന്റെ അഗ്രഭാഗം ദീപ്തമായി ജ്വലിച്ചു, അതിന്റെ തേജസ്സാൽ സമസ്ത ലോകവും വ്യാപിച്ചുപോയതുപോലെ തോന്നി।
