अम्बा–राम–भीष्म संवादः

Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge

गत्वाहं तत्‌ कुरुक्षेत्र स च राम: प्रतापवान्‌ । युद्धाय सहसा राजन्‌ पराक्रान्ती परस्परम्‌,राजन! मैं तथा प्रतापी परशुरामजी दोनों कुरुक्षेत्रमें पहुँचकर युद्धके लिये सहसा एक- दूसरेको पराक्रम दिखानेके लिये उद्यत हो गये

gatvāhaṃ tat kurukṣetraṃ sa ca rāmaḥ pratāpavān | yuddhāya sahasā rājan parākrāntī parasparam ||

രാജൻ! ഞാൻ ആ കുരുക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ എത്തി; പ്രതാപവാനായ രാമൻ (പരശുരാമൻ)യും അവിടെ എത്തി. അപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങൾ ഇരുവരും പെട്ടെന്ന് യുദ്ധത്തിനായി ഒരുങ്ങി—പരസ്പരം വീര്യം പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കാൻ ആകാംക്ഷയോടെ.
