Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
ते हयाश्नोदितास्तेन सूतेन परमाहवे । अवहन् मां भूशं राजन् मनोमारुतरंहस:,राजन! मेरे घोड़े मन और वायुके समान वेगशाली थे। सारथिके हाँकनेपर उन्होंने बात- की-बातमें मुझे उस महान् युद्धके स्थानपर पहुँचा दिया
te hayāś coditās tena sūtena paramāhave | avahan māṁ bhṛśaṁ rājan manomārutaraṁhasaḥ ||
രാജൻ! എന്റെ ആ കുതിരകൾ മനസ്സിനെയും കാറ്റിനെയും പോലെ വേഗമുള്ളവയായിരുന്നു. ആ മഹായുദ്ധത്തിൽ സാരഥി പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചതോടെ അവ എന്നെ അതിവേഗം വഹിച്ചു, ക്ഷണത്തിൽ തന്നെ ആ മഹാസമരസ്ഥലത്ത് എത്തിച്ചു.
