Amba approaches the Paraśurāma context; Hotravāhana’s counsel and Akṛtavraṇa’s report (अम्बोपाख्यानम्—रामदर्शनप्रसङ्गः)

प्रतिपत्स्यति राजा स पिता ते यदनन्तरम्‌ । तत्र वत्स्यसि कल्याणि सुखं सर्वगुणान्विता,'भद्रे! घर त्यागकर संन्यासियोंके-से धर्माचरणमें संलग्न होनेकी आवश्यकता नहीं है। तुम हमारा हितकर वचन सुनो, तुम्हारा कल्याण हो। यहाँसे पिताके घरको ही चली जाओ। इसके बाद जो आवश्यक कार्य होगा, उसे तुम्हारे पिता काशिराज सोचे-समझेंगे। कल्याणि! तुम वहाँ सर्वगुणसम्पन्न होकर सुखसे रह सकोगी

pratipatsyati rājā sa pitā te yad-anantaram | tatra vatsyasi kalyāṇi sukhaṁ sarva-guṇānvitā ||

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“അതിനുശേഷം നിന്റെ പിതാവ്—ആ രാജാവ്—എന്ത് ചെയ്യേണ്ടതാണോ അത് തീരുമാനിക്കും. കല്യാണി! നീ അവിടെ സർവ്വഗുണസമ്പന്നയായി സുഖത്തോടെ വസിക്കും.”
