Amba approaches the Paraśurāma context; Hotravāhana’s counsel and Akṛtavraṇa’s report (अम्बोपाख्यानम्—रामदर्शनप्रसङ्गः)
गच्छ मद्वचनादू रामं जामदग्न्यं तपस्विनम् । रामस्ते समुहद् दुःखं शोकं चैवापनेष्यति,'तू मेरे कहनेसे तपस्यापरायण जमदग्निनन्दन परशुरामजीके पास जा। वे तेरे महान् दुःख और शोकको अवश्य दूर करेंगे
gaccha madvacanād rāmaṃ jāmadagnyaṃ tapasvinam | rāmas te sumahad duḥkhaṃ śokaṃ caivāpaneṣyati ||
“എന്റെ വാക്കുപ്രകാരം തപസ്സിൽ നിരതനായ ജാമദഗ്ന്യനായ രാമൻ—പരശുരാമൻ—അവിടേക്ക് പോകുക. രാമൻ നിന്റെ മഹാദുഃഖവും ശോകവും തീർച്ചയായും അകറ്റും.”
भीष्म उवाच
When overwhelmed by grief, one should accept wise counsel and seek help from a proven authority in dharma and tapas; disciplined spiritual power is presented as capable of alleviating intense sorrow.
Bhīṣma directs the addressed person to approach Paraśurāma (Rāma Jāmadagnya), describing him as an ascetic whose intervention can remove the person’s great distress and grief.
