अम्बोपाख्याने तापसानां विचारः तथा होत्रवाहनस्य उपदेशः
Ambā among ascetics; Hotravāhana directs her to Paraśurāma
त्वया त्यक्ता गमिष्यामि यत्र तत्र विशाम्पते । तत्र मे गतय: सन्तु सन्त: सत्यं यथा ध्रुवम्,“राजन! यदि मेरी कही बात निश्चितरूपसे सत्य हो तो तुमसे परित्यक्त होनेपर मैं जहाँ- जहाँ जाऊँ, वहाँ-वहाँ साधु पुरुष मुझे सहारा देनेवाले हों”
tvayā tyaktā gamiṣyāmi yatra tatra viśāmpate | tatra me gatayaḥ santu santaḥ satyaṃ yathā dhruvam ||
വിശാംപതേ! ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞത് ഉറച്ച സത്യമെങ്കിൽ, നിന്റെ കൈവിട്ടു ഞാൻ എവിടെയെവിടെയായാലും പോകുമ്പോൾ അവിടെയവിടെ സജ്ജനർ എനിക്ക് ആശ്രയമാകട്ടെ—സത്യം അചഞ്ചലമായതുപോലെ.
