ते स्मरन्तश्न संग्रामे चरिष्यन्ति च रुद्रवत् । द्यूतक्रीड़ाके समय द्रौपदीको जो महान् क्लेश दिया गया और पाण्डवोंके प्रति कठोर बातें सुनायी गयीं
te smarantas tu saṅgrāme cariṣyanti ca rudravat | dyūtakrīḍā-kāle draupadyā mahān kleśo yaḥ pradattaḥ pāṇḍavān prati ca kaṭhorāṇi vacāṃsi śrāvitāni tāni sarvāṇi smṛtvā te raṇabhūmau rudrasamaṃ vicariṣyanti |
യുദ്ധത്തിൽ അവർ ആ എല്ലാം ഓർത്തുകൊണ്ട് രുദ്രനെപ്പോലെ സഞ്ചരിക്കും. ദ്യൂതക്രീഡയുടെ വേളയിൽ ദ്രൗപദിക്ക് ഏല്പിച്ച മഹാക്ലേശവും പാണ്ഡവർക്കെതിരേ ചൊരിഞ്ഞ കഠിനവചനങ്ങളും സ്മരിച്ച് അവർ രണഭൂമിയിൽ രുദ്രസമമായി സംഹാരം നടത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് സഞ്ചരിക്കും.
