मित्राणि ते प्रह्ृष्यन्तु व्यथन्तु रिपवस्तथा । सौक्षात्रं चैव तेउ्द्यास्तु भ्रातृभि: सह पाण्डवै:
mitrāṇi te prahṛṣyantu vyathantu ripavas tathā | saukṣātraṃ caiva te 'dyāstu bhrātṛbhiḥ saha pāṇḍavaiḥ ||
നിന്റെ സുഹൃത്തുകൾ ആനന്ദിക്കട്ടെ; ശത്രുക്കൾ അതുപോലെ വ്യഥപ്പെടട്ടെ. ഓ കർണാ! ഇന്നുമുതൽ പാണ്ഡവ സഹോദരന്മാരോടൊപ്പം നിനക്ക് യഥാർത്ഥ ബന്ധുത്വവും സദ്ഭാവവും നിലനില്ക്കട്ടെ.
