Kṛṣṇa’s Conciliatory Address to Karṇa
तं॑ वै विमनसं दृष्टवा सम्प्रेक्ष्यान्योन्यमन्तिकात् | पुनरेवोत्तरं वाक्यमुक्तवन्तौ नरर्षभौ,उसे उदास देख नरश्रेष्ठ भीष्म और द्रोण एक-दूसरेकी ओर देखते हुए उसके निकट ही पुनः इस प्रकार बात करने लगे
taṁ vai vimanasaṁ dṛṣṭvā samprekṣyānyonyam antikāt | punar evottaraṁ vākyam uktavantau nararṣabhau ||
അവനെ വിഷണ്ണനായി കണ്ട നരശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാരായ ഭീഷ്മനും ദ്രോണനും അടുത്തുനിന്നുതന്നെ പരസ്പരം നോക്കി; പിന്നെ വീണ്ടും മറുപടി വാക്കുകൾ പറഞ്ഞു.
