राजा कृतयुगस््रष्टा त्रेताया द्वापरस्य च । युगस्य च चतुर्थस्य राजा भवति कारणम्
rājā kṛtayugasraṣṭā tretāyā dvāparasya ca | yugasya ca caturthasya rājā bhavati kāraṇam ||
വായു പറഞ്ഞു—രാജാവാണ് കൃതയുഗത്തിന്റെ സ്രഷ്ടാവ്; അതുപോലെ ത്രേതാ, ദ്വാപരയുഗങ്ങളുടെയും. നാലാമത്തെ യുഗമായ കലിയുഗം പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നതിനും കാരണം രാജാവുതന്നെയാകുന്നു.
